NET2GRID EnergyAI® Edge on HAN port is a hardware-based service that delivers the right energy data, at the right time, straight from the edge, enabling real-time use cases while keeping operational and processing costs low. Unlike cloud-only solutions that depend on smart meter reads reaching the backend on a delay, NET2GRID EnergyAI® Edge on HAN port reads directly from the household's smart meter and makes that data available instantly, both locally and to the cloud, without waiting on a utility's data pipeline. ## Meter Compatibility NET2GRID EnergyAI® Edge on HAN port connects to the home's smart meter through the **P1 Port**, the standard interface for smart meters across Benelux and Scandinavia.
